    I do agree but think most people are unaware of product placement...people 'in the know' will see it a mile off - but I do think most just dont recognise it and see it as a form of advertising. The Sex and the City Movie was a bit cringe with the old 'let me just open my Manolo box it a certain fashion so you get a good look and the name on the lid'!

    Why shouldn't we see adverts in a film??? Don't you think brands like Aston Martin have made films such as James Bond become even more iconic???

    Traditionally Television content was free to viewers because of the plethora of advertising riddled throughout the programmes.

    Films were paid for by the viewing public, and so were to be free of extreme advertising.

    This dynamic is something which has been changing over recent years.
